PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submitted papers must report significant research results, findings or advances within the scope of the conference. Since the symposium is geared toward a diverse audience of physicians, researchers, engineers, computer and telecommunications scientists, graduate students and professors, the papers must be presented in a lucid manner accessible to such individuals.

Authors should submit Full Papers electronically and according to the following requirements:

     (1) Paper format : use the MSWord template provided here (Template.doc)

     (2) Total length: 5 pages

     (3) Accepted file format: .DOC and .PDF

All submitted papers must show the names of the authors, their mailing and electronic addresses, and up to 3 keywords. All papers must contain an abstract or summary. Each submission will be reviewed by at least 2 technical program committee members expert in the relevant area, so it is essential that the abstract and keywords provide enough information for the assignment of the most appropriate reviewers.

Please contact us at callforpapers@ismict2009.org for any questions concerning paper submissions.

FINAL VERSION SUBMISSION

If your paper is accepted, you will be asked to revise it in accordance with the reviewer's comments and resubmit it. Final version of a paper should be up to 5 pages in length, although it can be extended to 6 (however, if you would need that extension you should have it approved by the TPC Chair prior to the submission).

The final version must show the names of the authors, their mailing and electronic addresses, and up to 3 keywords on the top page. Each paper must contain an abstract or summary followed by other sections. The papers will be printed in the Symposium proceedings. At least one of the authors must register for the event before the final submission can be accepted.

INFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS

Each oral presentation has been given a time slot of 20 minutes which means approximately 15 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions and discussion. The ISMICT 2009 lecture rooms are equipped with a data projector and a computer into which presentations can be retrieved from either a CD-ROM or a USB memory stick prior to the beginning of the session.

Presentations should be either in Microsoft PowerPoint or Adobe PDF format. The use of one's own laptop is also possible but the compatibility with the data projector must be checked in advance during the break.

Presenters should arrive in the session room at latest 15 minutes before the start of the session in order to meet the session chair and to give him/her a short biography for the introduction of speakers.
